DTA (Differential Thermal Analysis) measures heat flow to or from a sample as a function of temperature and time. TGA (Thermo Gravimetric Analysis) measures weight changes in a material as a function of temperature (or time) under a controlled atmosphere. The DTA is performed simultaneously with TGA.
